Donnis started Kindermusik with Donnis in 2001 and has been recognized as being a diligent music and movement educator in the East Texas area.  Donnis is married and has three handsome sons ages 23, 20 and 10, all Kindermusik with Donnis graduates (except for her hubby)! 

Donnis has been working with children for most of her life. While in college, Mrs. Henderson taught private saxophone lessons in the Beaumont, TX area. She received two Bachelor degrees in Music Education, Vocal & Instrumental, from Lamar University, December 1989. Upon graduation, Henderson began an 11-year career as a band director in Kingwood, TX, then onto Aldine I.S.D., in Houston. Mrs. Henderson also served as church music director and children's choir director in the Humble, Texas area for 6 years. She made the move to a full-time mom and Kindermusik educator in September 2001. Since that time, she has found Kindermusik to be a wonderful way to continue to teach children through music and movement and maintain close connection with her family.  Mrs. Henderson truly enjoys the joy and rapid whole-body development that Kindermusik brings to each & every child.
